Pack Perfect K9 trains dogs on all levels with varying levels of behavior issues and needs. I am “positive first” in my training model, using food, fun, socialization and games to teach relaxation and calm behavior as well as commands to gain a trust and bond with each dog. I focus on capturing the behavior I like from your dog before I start micro managing and correcting for individual behaviors I don’t like. This creates a dog that operates the way you want them to in “free behavior”, without commands constantly having to be used.

I focus on relaxation and perception modification techniques as the foundation of my training for every dog, because everything can be done better from a place of relaxation. I use the system of Training Between the Ears (TBTE) techniques, a system designed by Mark McCabe which includes some of the work of Kayce Cover. I attend those seminars regularly to continue my learning so I may help you and your dog better!

I focus on giving the dog a sense of security and building clear communication and a good relationship between you and your individual dog, because just like us, they are all different! I believe most issues stem from an inadequate system of communication between dogs and their owners and my methods first focus on changing that.

My ultimate goal is not to dominate your dog and make them a tiny member of the military in a fur coat and you the general, but to help you build a relationship with them and bring out the best in both of you.
